Dwayne Jonhson Levará O Game Rampage Para O Cinema

Adaptação já tem diretor e roteiristas.

Em seu instagram, o ator Dwayne Johnson confirmou a adaptação do game Rampage, clássico game da Midway. E o longa já conta com os roteiristas Carlton Cuse, que também foi roteirista do filme catástrofe Terremoto: Falha de San Andreas, que tinha Johnson no papel principal, e Ryan Colton.

EXCLUSIVE: Cool news we just hired Carlton Cuse & Ryan Condal (creators of COLONY) to write our big screen adaptation of RAMPAGE for New Line. Carlton also wrote SAN ANDREAS for us, so he excels at writing big scale with family and heart as the anchor. We have a shot to raise the bar and make something cool with this one as the basic storyline is three mutated gigantic monsters (Silverback, Alligator and Wolf) destroy major cities and landmarks across the US. This summer I’ll spend time at the San Diego Wildlife Preserve as well as with Anti-Poaching Units from Africa for my research. If you were a fan of the video game like I was, then you KNOW how bad ass and fun this movie can be. I’ll try not to screw it up 😂. Em seu post, Johnson descreve o filme como “três alienígenas que vem para destruir grandes marcos americanos”. O longa será produzido pela New line Cinema e conta com a direção de Brad Peyton, que também dirigiu Johnson em San Andreas e em Viagem 2: A Ilha Misteriosa.

Também em seu instagram, o ator fala que só irá começar as gravações de Rampage após finalizar a adaptação para os cineamas da série Baywatch e o próximo Velozes e Furiosos, então deve ser lá para os meados de 2016.
